Hi, my name is Megan Leigh Willy!
I am a Brooklyn-based Researcher, Sustainable Strategist, and Lifetime Learner. who takes a fearless approach to future-focused, ethically sustainable systems' design from a transdisciplinary & participatory design perspective.
I use design methods to investigate complex systems, navigate social hierarchies, and mobilize communities through co-creating agency, access, and awareness. I am a Transdisciplinary Design Researcher & Strategist curious about holistic well-being, participatory governance, and sustainability. My professional passion lies in projects that better facilitate the cultural overlaps and economic conversations globally.
I'm fluent in Spanish, English, and various creative software. With over a decade of experience in higher education and cooperative housing in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, I possess strong group facilitation and leadership skills. I'm also an enthusiast stilt-walker, long-distance runner, avid urban cyclist, and proud auntie. Growing up as a military brat, I've lived in over 20 different cities, which has shaped both my life and work.
